Cozad Community Foundation

The Cozad Community Foundation is proud to lift up the people, places, and possibilities that make Cozad home. As we close out a capital campaign that brought more than $5 million dollars to Cozad with the Paulsen Sports Complex, we find ourselves humbled. Humbled by the generosity. Humbled by the grit. Humbled by the way this community shows up again and again to build something bigger together than any one of us could build alone.

Give Big Cozad is our chance to celebrate that spirit. It’s a day where local causes, nonprofits, and community champions come together to fuel the next chapter of growth in Cozad. Yes, charitable contributions matter. They make projects possible, strengthen organizations, and open doors for future generations. But this year, we’re shining a light on something equally powerful: volunteerism.

Cozad volunteers show up for their community like no other. This year, Give Big Cozad recognizes and celebrates everyone showing up for Cozad in every way. Whether it’s an hour, a skill, a conversation, or a donation, every contribution pushes our community forward. 

So as Give Big 2026 approaches, we ask you to look around and ask not, “Why don’t they do that?” but instead, “What can I do to make this better?”

Cozad thrives when each of us steps up in big ways, in small ways, in whatever ways we can. Money or minutes, both drive BIG change. And together, we’ll keep building a community we’re proud to call home.
