Area Stage

Every year, over 275 neurodiverse artists find their voice, confidence, and community through Area Stage’s Inspire Theatre Project (ITP), one of the most impactful arts programs for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in South Florida, changing lives since 2014.

Through theatre, dance, and music, students build life skills that extend far beyond the stage. Each participant’s training costs approximately $250 per month, and thanks to generous donors, 70% of these students have the opportunity to receive free education. With an annual operational budget of $850,000, your support keeps our life-changing work possible.

ITP also partners with schools including Great Heights Academy, Crystal Academy, Miami Learning Experience, and Friendship Circle, reaching 10,000+ community members annually through its services.

Your gift to this year’s campaign, “Every ACT Inspires”, will support 70 students who otherwise would not be able to attend our program for a year. Together, we can make sure every performer’s story shines on stage and off!
