Nate Favia’s 1st Half Marathon Supporting LGF

Hi, I’m Nathan, and on July 19th, I’ll be running my very first half marathon.  The Christmas in July Half Marathon is for a cause that’s incredibly personal to me and my family: the Little Giraffe Foundation.

I was born a triplet and came into the world early at just 34 weeks. I spent the beginning of my life in the ISCU (Infant Special Care Unit), surrounded by machines, wires, and incredibly dedicated doctors and nurses. I don’t remember those early days, but I’ve grown up knowing how important that care was for me and for so many other babies fighting for their lives.

The Little Giraffe Foundation supports premature babies and their families through research, NICU support programs, and thoughtful donations that bring hope and comfort during a scary time. It’s a cause close to my heart, and I want to give back.

This summer, I’m running to raise money and awareness and I’d love your support. Every donation helps provide gift bags to families in the NICU, fund critical research, and support hospitals caring for the tiniest fighters.

You can also join my team and run or walk the 5K or half marathon with me! All fundraisers will receive a free race t-shirt, and more importantly, you’ll be helping babies and families who need it most.
