Libumba Inclusion Initiative is a faith-based organization working with children with disabilities and their families in the Lubombo region of Eswatini. The Libumba programme focuses on the Maphungwane area of the Lubombo region in Eswatini. This area covers approximately 200 square kilometres of rural households where Libumba is actively involved with 47 families. Our programme is built on the World Health Organisation's model for Community Based Rehabilitation, also called Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) and is in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Libumba programme serves families living with children with disabilities between the ages of 0 to 18. The Libumba programme focuses on supporting families to access health care, education, livelihoods opportunities, social inclusion and to live as empowered members of their community. We realize that by working with the family unit rather than exclusively with the child, the whole family, and especially the care-giver, are supported and enabled to better support their child. We try to ensure the sustainability of our services by placing community involvement and collaboration at the heart of all we do.
